Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy Launches ‘Pakistan’s Museum of Food

In collaboration with Google Arts & Culture and the British Council, Project Director Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy launched ‘Pakistan’s Museum of Food’–an interactive display of Pakistan’s rich and diverse cuisine.

The project features over 9000 Images, 90 videos, and 100 stories spotlighting the array of food delivered from the five provinces. This also includes recipes for the dishes, including documentation of how they have evolved with time.

Shaheen Afridi to Marry Ansha Afridi This Month

Fast bowler, Shaheen Afridi, will be marrying Ansha Afridi, the daughter of former Pakistan Cricket team captain Shahid Afridi, by mid-September.

The pair held their Nikkah ceremony in early February this year. The intimate daytime event took place in Karachi and followed Afridi tribal traditions; This was followed by a reception at the Golf Club, at which Shaheen’s teammates were in attendance.

The Pakistan Academy Selection Committee (PASC) revealed that they are welcoming major stars to the committee.
